Having over 20 years experience each, our two chefs love a challenge to break away from our normal menu. Ingredients, circumstances and time allowing, we would be happy to accommodate you if you have a particular Japanese dish you know of that’s not on the menu.

Tatsuya began his career in 1984 in Sakai City, Osaka working at a fishmonger’s. Here he spent three years learning how to use all the knives needed to prepare and fillet many different species of fish.Then in 1987 he began his career in Sushi restaurants starting as an apprentice Sushi Chef at Kirakuzushi Restaurant in Osaka, Japan.

With the help of our two Japanese chefs, who both have over 20 years experience, we aim to bring authentic Japanese food to Liverpool.
We also have Japanese waiting on staff who will be able to answer most queries regarding all Japan related enquires from the food to the culture.
